Characters Debuts

  • Three new voices join the Trollhunters cast:
    • Emile Hirsch takes over the role as Jim, and Tatiana Maslany and Diego Luna will voice the two new characters, Aja and Krel, who are said to be the protagonists of 3 Below.
      • Although Hirsch has taken over the role of Jim, Yelchin has been confirmed to provide "a portion" of his voice to the character in Part 3. Yelchin’s performance has been left intact where possible, and some portions have been merged with Hirsch’s to complete the season.[2]
  • This is the only season to premiere in a month other than December.

The tweet quotes, "Enrique's New Year's resolution is to get even cuter in 2018!" This means he will appear again in the Trollhunters series. It is positive that he will be in Trollhunters again because the logo was posted on the top left of the image and it was tweeted by the Trollhunters Twitter instead of the The Tales of Arcadia Twitter.
